Common questions
I got a new phone - how do I get my account back?
Next Visit can attach an email to your account for exactly this. In the app, open You → account recovery and add your email; we'll send you a secure sign-in link. On your new device, tap that link (or request a recovery link) to sign back into the same spaces.
How do I connect with my partner?
One of you shares an invite link or a 6-character pairing code from You → invite your partner. When the other opens the link or enters the code, you're both in the same private space and everything syncs.
What's a crew, and how do I start one?
A crew is a shared space for a group instead of a couple - the ski trip, the family, the Euro summer. Open You → Your Spaces → New crew, give it a name, then drop the invite link in the group chat. Everyone who taps it lands in the crew; there's no sign-up and no limit on how many people join.
Can I be in a crew and a couple space at once?
Yes. One account holds one couple space plus as many crews as you like. Switch between them under You → Your Spaces - tap a space and the whole app moves to it. Each space keeps its own trips, memories and photos, and the spaces can't see each other.
What does Plus do in a crew?
In a crew, Plus adds room only - unlimited trip memories, 2,000 photos and 100 videos - and one subscription covers everyone in the crew. The couple features (shared health, check-ins, surprise trips, widgets, the couple games) are built for two and stay in a couple space. Everything else a crew does is free. See pricing.
I already pay for Plus - do I have to buy it again for my crew?
No. Plus follows you, not one space. If you have Plus, every crew you're in gets the bigger storage caps automatically - the ones you start and the ones you join - and nobody else in those crews has to pay anything. If your subscription ends, those crews go back to the free caps.
Who can see our photos and memories?
Only the people in that space - your partner in a couple space, or the current members of a crew. Nothing in Next Visit is public, spaces can't see each other, and we don't sell or share your content. One thing worth knowing about crews: anyone who has the crew's invite link can join and see what's already in it, so share that link only with the people you want in. If a link ends up somewhere it shouldn't, email us and we'll help. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
How do I leave a crew, or delete a space?
Open You → Your Spaces → Manage. From there you can leave any space without switching into it first. If you're the last member of a crew, leaving deletes it and everything in it. In a couple space you can either leave (your partner keeps it and all the memories) or delete it for both of you.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open You → delete account. This removes your personal details (name, email, birthday, profile photo, notification tokens), frees your email for reuse, and takes you out of every space you're in. Shared memories stay available to the people still in those spaces - your partner, or the rest of the crew - unless they delete them too; any space where you were the last member is deleted with your account. If you'd like us to handle a deletion for you, email support@next-visit.app.
Is the trip planner the same as the app?
The planner is a separate, no-login tool for sketching out a trip - flights, stays, and things to do. It doesn't create an account or save anything to a server; your trip lives in your browser until you leave.
Still stuck? Email support@next-visit.app - include your space's invite code (or your partner's or crew's name) if it's an account issue, and we'll sort it out.
