To be straight with you: Plus in a crew is storage, not extras. The Together world - shared health, check-ins, surprise trips, home-screen widgets and the couple games - is built for two people and stays in a couple space. If a crew is all you need, Free is genuinely the whole thing.
And you never pay twice. Plus follows the person, not the space: if one member of the crew has Plus - from this crew or from their couple space - the whole crew already has the bigger caps. Nobody else needs to buy anything.
