Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
In plain terms: Next Visit is a private shared space for the people you travel with - your partner, or a crew. You own what you add. Anything you put in a space is visible to everyone in that space, so only invite people you trust. Be kind and lawful with it, remember our AI and travel suggestions are starting points (not professional advice), and the service is provided as-is.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Next Visit ("Next Visit", "we", "us") governing your use of the Next Visit app at next-visit.app and the planner at go.next-visit.app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use Next Visit
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
The app creates an account for you automatically so you can start without a sign-up form. You may optionally link an email address to recover access later. You're responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping your recovery email and any sign-in links secure. Tell us promptly at support@next-visit.app if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Your spaces & shared content
Next Visit works through private shared spaces. There are two kinds: a couple space for you and one partner, and a crew for a group of any size. One account can hold one couple space and any number of crews, and the spaces are kept separate from each other - members of one cannot see the content of another.
Content you add to a space is visible to, and editable by, every current member of that space: your partner in a couple space, or all members of a crew. Only share a space with people you trust with that content.
Invite links. A crew is joined by an invite link or code. Anyone who has a crew's invite link can join it and will then see what is already in it, including content added before they joined - so treat it like a key to that space and share it only with the people you want in. You are responsible for who you give a link to.
Leaving and deleting. You can leave a space at any time, or delete a space you are the last member of (which deletes its content). If you leave a space or delete your account, content you added may remain available to the people still in that space, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, text, and other content you add ("Your Content"). You grant Next Visit a limited licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and the other members of the spaces you put it in - for example, to store your photos and sync them to a shared space. We don't use Your Content for advertising and we don't sell it.
You're responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights to share it, including the consent of anyone who appears in photos or videos you upload.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- upload content you don't have permission to share, or that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive;
- attempt to access a space or data you have not been invited to, or use an invite link to enter a space you were not meant to join;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, or work around its security or rate limits; or
- misuse our AI or planning features to generate unlawful or harmful content.
6. AI features
Next Visit offers AI-generated suggestions such as date ideas, quiz insights, and trip recommendations. These are generated automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are provided for inspiration only. They are not professional, legal, financial, medical, or travel advice. Use your own judgement and verify anything important before you rely on it.
7. Subscriptions, payments & third-party bookings
Next Visit offers an optional paid subscription, Next Visit Plus. What Plus unlocks depends on the kind of space it is bought for: in a couple space it unlocks extra storage and the premium features for two; in a crew it unlocks extra storage only - the couple features (such as shared health, check-ins, surprise trips and home-screen widgets) are not available in a crew. Plus covers every member of the space it is bought for, and its storage benefit also extends to the other spaces you belong to while your subscription is active - so a crew you are in gets the larger storage caps without anyone else paying. If your subscription ends, or you leave a space you were covering, that space returns to the free caps. The price is shown in the app before you confirm and is charged to your Apple App Store account. Plus is an auto-renewable subscription: it renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within that 24-hour window. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. Deleting your Next Visit account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Purchases, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services terms.
The planner helps you explore trips and links out to third-party travel services (for example for flights, stays, and activities). Next Visit does not sell travel or take travel bookings. Any booking you make is directly with that third party and subject to their terms, pricing, and availability, which we don't control or guarantee. Some links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Flight times, prices, and availability shown are estimates and can change.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (such as hosting, AI, search, imagery, and travel partners) described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.
9. Our intellectual property
The Next Visit name, logo, brand marks, design, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't give you any right to use our branding without our permission. Everything in the Service other than Your Content is ours or our licensors'.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that suggestions or travel information will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Next Visit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licences you've granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
